Family member’s open work permit for all-level jobs will be available since January 2023
Another new policy is the “family work permit”. Family members previously can only apply to work permit when the spouse is in high-skill occupations, that means jobs usually require completion of post-secondary education. Now the new pathway will enable all-level occupations in 3 phrases starting in January 2023. In addition to health care sector, trades and hospitality such as positions in tourism sector are very likely included.
