What Factors will decide your eligibility for RNIP?
To assess your eligibility for RNIP, you must meet the requiremenets respecting
Qualified Work experience
OR
Having graduated from a publicly funded post-secondary institution in the recommending community
Language skills
Education
Financial support
Intention to live in the chosen community
Community-specific requirements
Does RNIP require job offer?
Yes. Applicant must get a job offer to work in one of the participating communities. Each community has own requirements and job search process.
You also need to apply for a community recommendation after having the job offer.
Who are the participating Provinces under RNIP?
As of writing this article, there are 5 communities in Ontario, 2 in Manitoba, 2 in British Columbia, 1 in Saskatchewan, and 1 in Alberta.
Does Connection to Community Play a Big Role under RNIP?
Yes. Your family ties, previous educational or employment experience in the community, and many other factors would be assessed to determin your connection to the intended community, which plays a big role in deciding whether a recommendation should be issued.
